Sylvia Kathleen Wakelin

The beautiful and generous Sylvia Kathleen Wakelin was born in Solihull, West Midlands County, England on October 27, 1944.  She passed away on March 10, 2022 at home in Huntsville.  She was blessed with many loved ones who will miss her warm heart and infectious smile.

She is survived by her loving husband Richard Wakelin, daughter Nicole Edwards, sister Marie Devlin and her partner Micheal Fish, and brother Trevor Price and his spouse Jenny.  Step-mother to Jonathan Wakelin and his spouse Caroline, and Matthew Wakelin and his partner Bonnie.

Grandmother to Adam Wakelin and spouse Yuko, Alysia Fox and spouse Aaron, Bethany Wakelin, Brittany Wood and spouse Chris, Chantalle Pitter and spouse Antwon, and Nicki Wakelin and partner Mwangi Benjamin.

Great grandmother to Aiden, Annie, Anthony James, Benjamin, Diana, Isabella, Jolene, Kevon, Laila, Makenzie, Raphael, Tobias, and Xavier.

The family invite friends to a visitation at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Huntsville on Monday, March 21, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:30 a.m.  Reception to follow the funeral service.  Live streaming will be available for family and friends unable to attend and can be accessed below in the service section.
