It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Roland Petalik, beloved husband to his wife, Betty. Father to Cindy (Bill) and Tammy (Francois). Loving Papa to Lizzy (Joe), Ashley (Dan), Alexandria, Melissa, Emily and Genevieve. Great-grandfather to Madelynn, Mackenzie, Quincy, Abigail, and Lucas, who are so lucky to already have made so many amazing memories together.  He will be remembered by his eldest sister Rosie, predeceased by Ida, Andy, and Johnny. Rolly will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, and many friends with whom he loved to laugh with and share stories over a bottle of wine. Rolly was an avid reader, passionate traveler, and loved his family immensely.  He was always happiest when surrounded by them.  We want to thank Dr. Brule and the doctors, nurses, and staff at Huntsville Memorial Hospital for taking such great care of our Papa in his final days. Visitation to be held at Billingsley Funeral home on Monday, November 21, 2022 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, November 22 at 11 am. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to Huntsville Memorial Hospital Foundation are greatly appreciated in lieu of flowers.
