SUMMERVILLE, Robert “Bob” Drummond

Passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023, at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital at the age of 83.  Robert was born to parents Robert & Catherine Summerville in Orangeville, Ontario on June 28, 1939.

Beloved husband of Mabel Summerville (nee Thompson) of 65 years.  Loving father of Reginald (Sheila), Gordon (dec. Cindy), Troy (Sandra) and the late Robert James Summerville.  Proud grandfather of 10 granddaughters and 18 great-grandchildren.  Bob will be dearly missed by his niece, nephews, extended family, and many friends.

Bob had many hobbies, which included camping, motorcycling, snowmobiling, traveling, and going on cruises. He enjoyed organizing and working in different clubs. He was a member of the Jaycees, the Snowmobiling Club, Masonic Lodge and was very involved in the Muskoka Shrine Club. He also volunteered at the Huntsville Train Station.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Hutcheson Memorial Cemetery at 1 p.m.  As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Shriners Hospital https://www.shrinerschildrens.org/en/locations/canada or Huntsville Hospital Foundation https://www.mahc.ca/ in lieu of flowers.
