Marija (Mary) Arsenijevic

Mary passed away peacefully at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital.  Predeceased by her husband Stojan (Stan) and daughter, Mary Mercer, she was also mother to George (Monique) and Helen (Lou).She was grandmother to Francis (Linda), Julie (Patrick) Carolyn (Mitch), Christine (Rob) , Greg, Stephanie (Louis), and Anne (John) and great grandmother to Cedric, Alec, Jessica, Amelie, Maxim, Mila, and Hudson.Predeceased by her sister Vera (Tom) and great nephew Darren and aunt to Caroline (Ted). Mary was born in Serbia when it was part of the former Yugoslavia.  She came to Canada after the second world war.  Through hard work and determination mom along with dad created a loving, secure environment for their children. She was never happier than when she was with family. After retiring she and Stan spent many winters in Florida. She also loved her gardens.

The visitation will be held on Sunday, May 29 from 2pm to 5pm at the Billingsley Funeral Home. The  service will be held on Monday, May 30 at 11 am at Billingsley’s Funeral Home. Mary will be laid to rest at Hutcheson Memorial Cemetery.
