PIERCEY, Marie (nee Young)

Passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital in her 86th year.  Born in Twillingate, Newfoundland on February 15, 1934 to Martin and Julia Young also of Twillingate, Newfoundland.  Beloved wife of the late Thomas Piercey who predeceased Marie on August 24, 2012. Loving mother of David (Penny), Mark (Linda) and Lee-Ann (Glenn).  Cherished grandmother of Danny (Laura), Krista, Rob ( Melanie), Charles, Melanie, Monica and Robin.  Great-grandmother of Owen, Nathan, Alissa, Brinley, Jeremy and Christopher.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Salvation Army, 4 Mary Street East, Huntsville from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.  Following the funeral service the burial will take place at Hutcheson Memorial Cemetery.  Reception to follow at Salvation Army.  As an expression of sympathy memorial donations can be made to Salvation Army in Huntsville.  Messages of condolence may be left at www.billingsleyfuneralhome.com
