ARNOLD, Katherine Joyce

It is with great sadness that the Arnold family announces the peaceful passing of Katherine on March 24, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones at home.  She was born in London, Ontario to the late Bill and Marg Cousins on January 21, 1959. Her family moved to the family cottage in  Huntsville in 1968, where she attended Pine Glen Public School and Huntsville High School. She attended Western University in London and succeeded in a double major in Math and English.

Katherine married Dave Arnold Sr and together they have two great sons – Kurt and David Jr. (Brooke)

Katherine is loved by all who knew her, especially her granddaughters Sophia, Sarah, Samantha and Stevie. She will be missed by many friends, nieces and nephews. 

She leaves behind her siblings Jane Keevil (Rick), Lisa Davidson and Rick Cousins (Marion), and will be dearly missed by her in-laws Ted and Shirley Arnold

She went on to become a coordinator for Men’s Gymnastics Ontario, Canadian head of sales for Speith Anderson and was the President of Pro Spec Sport.

Some of her fondest memories were her summers at Muskoka Woods, and at her childhood house on the Narrows of Lake Vernon.

Katherine will be remembered for her bubbly personality and loving life to the fullest.

The family invite friends to a visitation on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Billingsley Funeral Home in Huntsville from 12:00 p.m. until time of the funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow.
