GOWLAND, James "Harley" Hunter
Passed away peacefully on September 25, 2021 at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Kathleen (nee Beckford) Gowland who predeceased Harley on September 18, 2015. Harley was born on September 27, 1928 in Brampton, Ontario to parents George & Estelle (nee Nickson) Gowland. He is the loving father of son, Glenn (Joan) Gowland and daughters Susan Gowland and the late Trudy Fox. Proud grandfather of Fraser (Ashley) Gowland, Colleen (Chris) Bennett, Julie (Larry) Peyton, Cindy (John) McFadyen, Robyn MacDonald and Michael MacDonald. Great-grandfather of 8 and great-great-grandfather of 2. Dear brother of Rosalyn (Barry) Cooper. Predeceased by his siblings Dawn, Ralph, Gary, Glenn, Dean. Harley will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
