BRYAN JACK MACKENZIE
Born in Sudbury, Ontario
September 17, 1955

It is with great shock and sadness the family announce Bryan's sudden passing at his home in Huntsville, Ontario on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at the age of 64.  Predeceased by his loving spouse David Harkness and his parents Murdock and Catherine (Hooper).  Survived by his dear sister Cathy and spouse Lynn, mother-in-law Pearl Harkness and his dear Uncle Rae MacKenzie.  Bryan will be greatly missed by best friend of 44 years Andrea Rallo.  Dear friend Norman Wagner, Sandra Harkness, friend and great neighbour Karen Fell and Gord Danks along with many many other dear friends.  Cherished brother-in-law of Belva predeceased (Larry Taylor), Harley (Suzanne Smith) and Becky (late Michael Garry).  Kind and loving uncle to eight nieces and nephews and many cousins.  Predeceased by his furry four legged family; Saint Blacky, Bella, Sarah, Elizabeth, Sadie and Emily.

Bryan's love of gardening and baking were evident to everyone who knew him.  He loved to increase the caloric intake of all wether it be two or four legged creatures.  Bryan loved to travel having just returned from Portugal and had trips to Cuba and a cruise to the Panama Canal already booked for next year.  Bryan had a great love for Cape Breton and part of his heart will always be there.  The Huntsville Horticultural Society and Huntsville Fall Fair Agricultural Society were two of his great passions.  Bryan was a active member of Trinity United Church, Meals on Wheels and Club 55.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Trinity United Church in Huntsville on Saturday, December 7, 2019.  The visitation will take place in the church hall from 10:30-12:00 p.m.  The service will be held at 12:00 p.m. with reception to follow.  A gathering of family and friends will continue at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 232.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Trinity United Church, Huntsville, Almaguin Pet Rescue, Hospice Huntsville, Horticultural Society or Huntsville Agricultural Society.  Messages of condolence can be left at www.billingsleyfuneralhome.com
