Albert Edward Essex

March 30, 1928 — November 26, 2020

Huntsville

On November 26, 2020, with his daughter by his side, Ted peacefully left his earthly life after 92 years.  He is survived by his daughter, Lynn Jones (Essex), grandsons Nicholas Edward Essex Jones, Scott William Jones and Mark Leigh Jones and his puppy granddog Maxie ( Booboo ) Jones. He will be remembered fondly by all those whose lives he touched.

Lynn shares: He was the best Father. My heart is broken. He has been my rock and my strength for my entire life. He was an amazing man. A toolmaker by trade he knew how to do so many things from building two houses, designing and building a treehouse for his grandsons to making golf clubs. He served in the British Army and was a proud Veteran. He had such wisdom to share and always focused on “making a long story short”. He gave generously of himself. He was a genuine, kind, and caring gentleman. He was Dad and Papa to three boys when their biological father chose to leave. My greatest blessing was having him be such an active and constant influence in my life. He is and always will be missed so very much.
Dad is predeceased by his beloved wife, and my mother, Iris Essex. He missed her so much after her passing. I pray they are now together again in peace. Love you forever Dad and Mum.
