Timothy Guy Lockhart

Timothy Guy Lockhart, known to many as Tim, passed away on August 21, 2026, at Algonquin Grace Residential Hospice in Huntsville. He was born on March 3, 1965, in Guelph, Ontario.

Tim will be remembered as a skilled carpenter and a man who found joy in working with his hands. Woodworking was among his great pleasures, reflecting both his craftsmanship and his care. He also enjoyed listening to classic rock, cruising the back roads of Muskoka in his Porsche, and spending time with his family, which was his favorite way to be. He loved history and action movies, and he carried a deep affection for Muskoka throughout his life.

Among the moments closest to Tim’s heart were his 35-year marriage to the love of his life, Susan, and becoming a grandfather to his three grandchildren.These were accomplishments and blessings he held with great pride. Family was at the centre of his life, and the role of husband, father, stepfather, brother, uncle, and grandfather meant everything to him.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Susan; his daughters, Katie and her husband Landon, and Jessica and her husband Trent; and his step-daughter, Sarah and her husband Chris. He was a cherished grandfather to Shea, Max, and Abygail, a role he embraced with great happiness. Tim is also survived by his brother Terry and his wife Pam and his sister-in-law Cathy, as well as by his nieces and nephews, Carley, Tyler, and Sam. He was also a friend to many, and his warmth and presence will be missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 19, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Utterson Community Hall, Township Hall Rd, Huntsville, ON P0B 1M0. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to Hospice Huntsville in lieu of flowers.

Tim will be remembered for his love of family, his strong hands and generous spirit, and the simple joys that meant so much to him. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him.
