Shirley Marie Parker

It is with profound sadness that the family of Shirley Marie Parker announce her very peaceful passing on Tuesday June 10, 2025, at the tender age of 95 years

She will be lovingly remembered by her Daughter In-Law Sheila Parker and Son In-Law Maurice Senechal. Grandchildren; Glenn Parker (Cassandra), Gary Parker (Brenda), Derek Senechal, Darryl Senechal (Michelle), Great Grandchildren; Ashley, Steven (Jessica), Tyler (Carly), Dean (Samantha), Nelson, Eden, Selena and Reed and Great-Great Grandchildren; Bentley, Kayden, Kendall, Lawson, Raelynn, Adalynn, Dax and Gwen. Shirley was pre-deceased by her Husband Herbert Parker, Son Lyle Parker, Daughter Ann Senechal and Partner Ted Murdy

She was known as Shirley but to so many as Sis, Nanny, Nan, and Aunt. Shirley was a proud and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and of course FRIEND. Shirley worked at Green Acres on Fern Glen, in logging camps with her Husband and at Tandy Leather for 22 years

Shirley enjoyed reading, baking, knitting, gardening, sucker fishing, cooking, shopping, dancing and most importantly volunteering at Burton Avenue United Church and the Breakfast Club at the school next door. Most of all she LOVED FAMILY.

A service will be held on Saturday June 21st, 2025, at Billingsley Funeral Home, 430 Ravenscliffe Road, Huntsville, ON, P1H 1L7 commencing at 11:00am. A time of fellowship will follow the funeral service where coffee, tea and sweets will be shared. The burial will take place at Hutcheson Memorial Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.

The Family wishes to thank the staff at Forest Hill Long Term Care Facility for their care and compassion to Shirley over the years.
