Sheila Maureen Maurice

It is with the heaviest of hearts that I announce the passing of my lovely wife, and lifelong companion, Sheila Maureen Maurice (nee Armstrong). Gently resting, while surrounded by loving family, Sheila passed peacefully at the Huntsville Memorial Hospital on May 4, 2025. Sheila is survived by her loving and dedicated husband Andre; and her loving children Patricia, Heather and Michael Micieli, David, and Douglas and Jennifer Maurice. Sheila will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Aidan, Abigail, Olivia, Emma, Caitlyn and James. Visitation for the many family and close friends Sheila has met in the Huntsville area will be held at the Billingsley Funeral Home in Huntsville on Thursday May 8th at 12:00 noon, with service to follow at 1:30 pm. A private burial will occur on Friday May 9th.

Known by many names throughout her life, Nana, sister, mom and daughter, she was simply the center of my life : my first love, my nurturing caregiver, the mother of my children who will carry memories of her through the rest of their own lives. Sheila will be forever missed.
