Sharon Edith Lupton, a beloved member of the Muskoka community and familiar face at McDonald's where she dedicated 40 years of service, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026, at Muskoka Shores in Gravenhurst. Born on September 21, 1950, in Huntsville, Ontario, Sharon blessed those around her with her warm spirit and unwavering devotion to her family.

Known for her gentle nature and radiant kindness, Sharon truly cherished the time she spent with her loved ones. She was a loving mother to her son, Darren Lupton and his wife Kim, and a proud grandmother to Cole and Alex Lupton. Their lives were enriched by her presence, and her memory will continue to be a guiding light for them.

In addition to her commitment to family and work, Sharon enjoyed knitting and treasured her annual fishing trips to Temagami with her late husband, Larry Lupton. These journeys were a source of joy and relaxation, reflecting her deep appreciation for nature and simple pleasures.

Sharon was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Larry Lupton, as well as her parents, Gordon and Gladys (nee Smith) Oke. Their memories remain cherished and honored by those who knew her.

At this time, there will be no formal service held. Sharon’s family wishes to extend their gratitude to the community and invites those who wish to honor her memory to consider supporting the Alzheimer’s Society of Muskoka.
