Rosemary Murken

On December 12, 2023, Rosemary Murken passed away due to complications in her battle against stage 5 kidney disease. Despite the advanced stage of her disease, Rose stayed her feisty self to the very end. Throughout her life, Rose was known by many names, but none were more important to her than those of Mother, Daughter, and Friend. You could always count on her to be authentic and genuine, no matter the circumstances. Rose was well known for her love of motorbikes, coffee, crosswords, her dogs, and especially bingo! She developed a strong bond with her Huntsville dialysis family over the many years she went there and greatly missed them over the last several months when she was not able to see them.

Rose is survived by her children Erika Murken, Adam Murken (Jessica Crewson), and Melanie Myatt (Andy Myatt), as well as her mother Annemarie Murken. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Ashlee, Rachelle, Rosa, Rylie, TJ, Cody, Xander and Ellie, and her great grandchild Cole. 

A celebration of life will take place at Billingsley Funeral Home in Huntsville, Ontario on Sunday, January 14, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. All are welcome to join.
