Obituary

On February 16, 2026, after a four year battle with Alzheimer’s disease, Roger departed for tomorrow’s heaven, leaving behind his devoted ex wife Elizabeth Bragg, his daughter Steph Bragg Andraos (partner Dwayne Broadbent), son, Chris Bragg, and grandchildren Riley Andraos and Joshua Andraos.

Roger had a love of fine wine, expensive coffee and Chestnut Canoes. He treasured time in the wilderness, both on canoe trips in summer and on winter camping outings with friends. He loved maps, and spent several years creating a map for National Geographic. In his latter years, he turned to his final great passion, writing a book to celebrate Ojibway star myths, that to this day, sadly, remains unfinished.

Roger graduated from the University of Toronto with a B.Sc. in Forestry, and went on to pursue a specialty in Geography at OCE. Roger’s professional career began with a teaching position in Geography at Bathurst Heights Collegiate in Toronto, until a move in 1968 to teach at Huntsville High School for over 30 years.

We are grateful to Billingsley Funeral Home for their expertise, guidance, and empathy. They provided exactly what we needed. As a family, we wholeheartedly recommend them.
