Raymond Anthony Leigh Jr. was born on July 4, 1971, in Kitchener, Ontario, and died on July 19, 2026, at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital. His life, marked by deep commitment to family and enduring relationships, leaves behind a profound legacy of love and devotion.

Raymond was the beloved son of Ray and Joan Leigh, who nurtured and supported him throughout his life. He is survived by his cherished sister, Tammy Leigh Robinson, and her husband Keith Robinson. Raymond’s dedication to his family was evident in all that he did, and he had a remarkable capacity for kindness and generosity. He formed meaningful relationships beyond his immediate family, including Tasha Abitrante, whose friendship brought a special warmth to his days.

As a devoted father, Raymond’s love and guidance shaped the lives of his children: Elizabeth (known fondly as Beth), Hailey, Joshua, Amanda, and Tori. He inspired them through his unwavering support and thoughtful presence, always striving to equip them with values and strength to meet life’s challenges. The memory of his late daughter Jocelyn will forever be honoured in the family's hearts.

Raymond’s extended family brought him immense joy. He was the proud uncle of Nicholas Fraser, Julie Boozan, and Lindy Dunn, whose lives were enriched by his wisdom and encouragement. Family bonds extended as well through Meagon, Chad, and Matt—spouses whose connection to Raymond reflects the embracing spirit he fostered within the Leigh family.

Raymond’s life was not only defined by relationships but by a steady sense of responsibility and integrity that influenced all who knew him. Friends and acquaintances recall his warm demeanour, quiet humour, and readiness to lend a hand in times of need. 

Visitation for Raymond Anthony Leigh Jr. will be held on July 24, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Riverside Baptist Church, located at 11 Riverside Drive, Huntsville, ON. A funeral service will follow at the same venue beginning at 1:00 PM, with interment at Madill Church, 485 Muskoka District Road 3, Huntsville, ON, at 3:00 PM.
