Margaret Catherine Mann, a beloved figure known for her warmth, storytelling, and laughter, passed away on August 12, 2025, at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital in Huntsville, Ontario. Born on May 9, 1949, in Toronto, Ontario, Marg lived a life rich with experiences that touched the hearts of those around her.

She forged a successful career as an adjuster in the insurance industry, dedicating her professional life to esteemed organizations including Co-Operators, Wellington, Home Insurance, and Intact. Marg spent much of her early career in Toronto before transitioning to the Huntsville area, where she embraced retirement with the same vigor she applied to her work. Her love for nature and the outdoors flourished through her cherished cottage lifestyle, where she enjoyed swimming, building, photography, and travelling, often spending delightful moments in the picturesque Kawartha and Muskoka regions.

An alumna of Royal York Collegiate, Marg held education close to her heart, embracing lifelong learning and sharing her knowledge with her family. She was not just an accomplished professional but also a remarkable storyteller, captivating her loved ones with engaging tales filled with humor and insight. Marg had a profound appreciation for reading, music, and, above all, the time spent with her family, creating a legacy of love and connection.

Marg is survived by her devoted sisters, Susan (Robert) Colley, Carol (Carolyn Gillen) Mann and Steve (Liz) Colley. She is also fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Brett Colley, Deanna Colley, Ryan (Katherine) Colley, Tricia (Mike Nickelson) (nee Colley), Cole Colley (Leslie Cadieux), Drew Colley, Micheline and Miguelle Mann, Corinne (Steve Cory) (née Mann), Ian Mann, and David Howitt. The joy she brought into their lives continues through her great nieces and nephews, Brayden Colley, Hunter Kershaw, Logan Colley, Evan Baxter.

Marg was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Catherine Mann, as well as her stepmother, Bunny Mann and brother John Mann. Her legacy of love, laughter, and storytelling will remain in the hearts of all who knew her, a testament to the wonderful life she lived and the cherished memories she created.
