Passed away peacefully at Fairvern Nursing Home on Wednesday, January 9, 2019. Beloved husband of Blanche Guest. Loving father of Gail (Carl) Speight, Donna Trumbull, June Hayward and loving grandfather of Cari (Brian) Gerow.
Lorne was a veteran of WWII as a RCAF Aero Mechanic and later a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Huntsville Branch 232. Lorne retired from Dofasco Steel Company in Hamilton. He also enjoyed his cottage that he built on Kawagama Lake in the Dorset Area.
In keeping with Lorne's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Service will be held in the spring. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations can be made to the Royal Canadian Legion, Huntsville Branch 232 or charity of choice.
