Laura Christeen Wilson

Laura Christeen Wilson passed away peacefully on January 6th 2025, at Huntsville Hospital following a stroke. Laura was born in Huntsville on April 17th 1934, the daughter of Anna Mae and Donal Hebner. 

Laura was predeceased by her loving husband Stanley Smith Wilson. Laura and her husband moved to Kuala Lumpur in 1965 where Stan's company installed Malaysia's first Telecom building. A few years after returning to Canada, they retired in Fort Pierce, Niagara on the Lake, and cottaged at Lake Waseosa. 

Laura will be deeply missed by Cathy (Brian) McMurray and all the many nieces and nephews. She is survived by her son Michael Wilson, and grandchildren, Amber (Robin), Tiffany (Ryan) and great grandchildren Desmond, Jameson, Olivia, and Patrick.

Cremation has taken place as per Laura's wishes and will be united with Stan in the spring. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
