Kristina "Kris" Margret Rowan

Kristina “Kris” Rowan 77 passed away on June 24th 2026, in Huntsville ON. A beloved Mother, Grandmother and cherished member of her community. Kris lived a life defined by dedication, kindness and quiet strength.

Kris proudly drove her school bus for 45+ years, picking up 3 generations of children along South Waseosa route #225. Her steady presence and warm smile and unwavering reliability made her a trusted figure in the lives of countless families.

She was a dedicated member of the Order of the Eastern Star, where she found friendship, purpose and a sense of sisterhood that enriched her life.

Kris is survived by her children Wendy Rowan Murdy (Deane), Julie Rowan and Richard Rowan ( Liana). She was a loving grandmother to Kelsi Murdy, Brianne Henry, Ethan Murdy, Gage Henry, Jake Rowan and Nate Rowan. Each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.

Her legacy lives in the generations she guided, the family she loved fiercely and the community she loved.

A visitation will take place on August 8, 2026 at Billingsley Funeral Home, 430 Ravenscliffe Rd., Huntsville from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm.  The family invites those who knew her to remember her with warmth, gratitude and the stories she leaves behind.
