Harold Frank Harris known as Frank.

It is with great sadness and loving memories, the family of Frank Harris of Bracebridge announce his passing at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Saturday, February 8, 2025, with family by his side. Frank was predeceased by his loving wife Dorothy May (nee Gatton) of 58 years on May 18, 2003.

Frank was born in Coleshill, Warwickshire, England on May 18, 1924, to James and Emma (nee Knight) Harris and was the last surviving child of 9. Frank is survived by children Jean Comeau (John) of Bracebridge, Mary Yeomanson of Queensville, Stephen James Harris (Cathy) of Gravenhurst, daughter in law Ruth Harris of Barrie. Predeceased by children George William Harris of Barrie and Margaret Harris of Bracebridge. Frank was blessed with 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. Frank will be missed by nieces and nephews abroad; friends and neighbours in Bracebridge; PSW’s from Friends and Parameds that assisted in Frank’s care over the years. Special memories of and gratitude to Stacey and Tanya.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Billingsley Funeral Home in Huntsville on June 7, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.  Speeches will be said at 1:00 p.m.  For those unable to attend, livestreaming is available and can be located in the service section by clicking the link.  Frank will be laid to rest at Stephenson Cemetery in Port Sydney at 2:30 p.m.
