Graham Brian Pollington

March 18, 1969 — December 22, 2023

Huntsville, Ontario

You’ll never walk alone.

Graham left this world on a sunny Friday afternoon surrounded by the people he loved. He was a passionate person with love for many things, with one in particular: for football (soccer) he was all in.

From the pitch, to running the lines, to the sidelines coaching his daughter’s team, to watching Liverpool in the newest kit no matter how early they started, football coursed through his blood. He was kind and gentle, always eager to explain footie’s rules and any other game from rugby to cricket, curling to golf, tennis and triathlons (of which he completed many).

Born in England, Graham was an adventurous little kid, climbing mountains and playing with trains. As the youngest of six, Graham knew how to have fun. Growing up playing on top of the coal mounds belonging to his father’s company. He was never afraid to get his hands dirty and showed his love through hard work and always putting all his effort into the things he loved. He made sure to bring a laugh to his family.

He met his wife Sam (Samantha) - originally from Canada – with whom he shared many values and passions. After a few years of dating, they got married and moved to Huntsville to start their family.

England is known for their puddings, custards, creams, and cheesecake and boy did Graham know how to make them. He loved to express his creativity in the kitchen with homemade realistic birthday cakes for his family, that still get talked about to this day. He liked things a specific way: 1 cheesecake for special occasions, 2 biscuits with tea, 3-4 scoops  of Cadbury’s chocolate powder to make his hot chocolate perfect, 5-6 roasts a year and 7 days a week of corn flakes, poached eggs with toast for breakfast.

You will never be forgotten; your legacy will live on in the passion and kindness you shared with us all.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring. Instead of flowers donations can be made to Algonquin Grace Hospice In Huntsville Donate - Hospice Huntsville.
