"Siddy" Gladys Alvina Campbell-McAuley

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Gladys “Siddy” Alvina Campbell-McAuley (nee Hughes) on July 21, 2025, at the age of 80.

Siddy was first married in August 1967 to “Alfie” Campbell (Dec.)– where they moved to Novar and started their family.

Siddy was a beloved and devoted mother to Karla (Fred) and Doug (Karen) and was a proud grandmother of Kristin, Emma, Jessica (Jason), Joey (Barbara) and Kelsey, Clorissa (Michael) and Cody (Emily). She enjoyed her great-grandchildren, Lucas, Cole, Bowen, Isadora, Easton, Madilynn and Scott.

In June 1991, Siddy married “Ray” McAuley, and became a stepmother to Nancy (Dec), Mary Rae(Dec) (Wayne), Karen (Bob), and John (Sari), and Grandchildren, Jason, Heather (Dec), Tyler, Morgan, Wade, Justin, Sarah, Wanda, Jim, Matthew, Alicia, Karlie, Natasha. Siddy enjoyed meeting and getting to know the great-grandchildren Anna, Austin, Hayden, Liam, Callum, Brielle, Ethan, Hillary, Evan, Edison, Evan, Lyndon, Lochlan, Braya, Bellamy, John, Asher and Daniel.

She held a special place in her heart for her brother, Doug (Gloria) and sister, Nadine (Gerry(Dec)) and niece, Joanna.

If there was a reason to have a family gathering Siddy was always excited to host.

Siddy could play many instruments, including the Mandolin, Autoharp, and Piano and on rare occasions, would sing. With Siddy’s family playing many instruments, family gatherings would often include singing and music.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation on July 27 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Billingsley Funeral Home, 430 Ravenscliffe, Huntsville Ontario.

All who knew and loved Siddy are welcome to attend and celebrate her life.
