Frederick "Fred" William deForest

Passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025 at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital in his 89th year.

Beloved husband of the late Julia de Forest (nee Gosselin) who predeceased Fred in 2017.  He is survived and will be missed by his daughters Jennifer (Randy), Denise (Bob) and Diane, and his four granddaughters. Predeceased by his two step-sons, Bob and Maurice.

Fred's grandparents were pioneer settlers in Ravenscliffe, and although Fred was born in Toronto, he returned and built his home on the family property in 1967.  He was employed in the construction of Kimberly Clarke and continued to work there until he retired after 30 years.

He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and special neighbours Peter and Michelle.
