Earl Leroy Kay, born on August 15, 1941, in Newmarket, Ontario, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025, in Huntsville, Ontario. He was a cherished member of his community and a beloved family man whose legacy will continue to shine through the lives he touched.

Earl dedicated a significant part of his life to managing Sifton Horse Farm from a young age, showcasing his unwavering commitment and passion for the farming life. Later, he transitioned to the role of loader operator at Domtar, where he work diligently until his well-deserved retirement. In 1977, Earl made the move to Huntsville, Ontario in 1977, where he would go on to create many memories.

An avid outdoorsman, Earl found joy in a variety of hobbies and interests. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, motorcycling, and ATVing, often immersing himself in nature's beauty. Camping with his family was a special pastime, as he appreciated the solace that the great outdoors provided. He was also known for his skill in custom woodworking, showcasing his creativity and craftsmanship. Earl had a particular fondness for attending country jamborees, where he enjoyed the music and camaraderie.

Earl was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margaret Elinor Kay (nee Hayes), who was an integral part of his life. Together, they shared a deep bond that has left a lasting impact on their family.

He leaves behind a loving family that includes his daughter Brenda (Vince) Letford, son Blair (Teresa) Kay, grandchildren Caitlynd, Tristan, and Shailey, and great-grandchild Aubree. Each of them benefited from Earl's wisdom, kindness, and the love he so freely gave.

The visitation for Earl Leroy Kay will be held on June 25, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Billingsley Funeral Home, located at 430 Ravenscliffe Road, Huntsville, ON, P1H 1L7. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at the same location from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM. Earl will then be laid to rest at Hutcheson Memorial Cemetery, 485 Muskoka District Road 3, Huntsville, ON, P1H 1C6, at 1:00 PM, with an additional gathering after the burial at Billingsley Funeral Home from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
