Dorte Boye Taylor

It is with great sadness we share that Dorte Boye Taylor (Enevoldsen) passed away suddenly at Royal Victoria (Barrie) Hospital December 25th 2023 in her 68th year. Dorte was born March 1st 1955 in Denmark to Karen-Marie and Jorgen (John) and married to Brian Taylor July 15th 1978 at the Danish Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband Brian, her two sons; Michael (Molly) and Christopher (Paige), her siblings; Mogens (predeceased) Else, and Vagn, her grandchildren; Arwen, Merrick and Reeve. 

 

Dorte had a love for animals (her dog; Jacob, her cats; Lucy and Suzy (predeceased), gardening, swimming, the beach (Sauble in particular), reading / words, music, "Danish" humour and a fierce loyalty for her loved ones (and being right). 

 

Dorte fought an enduring battle against a relentless and unfair enemy (MS) and the family would like to thank the personal care team at Southbridge Care home for their help and kindness the 

 

Friends and family are invited to join the family for visitation Saturday December 30th from 2pm - 4pm.

 

No formal service is planned, though all welcomed are encouraged to speak if they feel motivated to do so.
