Christina "Chris" Margurate MacDonald passed away peacefully at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on September 14, 2018, at 90 years of age. Born to Alva and Hubert MacLeod on March 9, 1928 at Ravenscliffe, Ontario. She was the eldest of 10 children.
On August 11, 1948 she married W.J. "Jack" MacDonald. She had a great love of life, people and loved to travel.
She taught skiing at Tally-Ho Winter Park for about 30 years and taught swimming for 10 years. Chris was hostess with the mostest for many years at the family restaurant, MacDonald Family Restaurant and was a social butterfly EXTRORDINAIRE!
She will be sadly missed by her children: Dan (Gail), Christie (Roy - deceased) & Kerri (Mike). Grandchildren: Ryan (Amy), Nathan (Wanda), Amber (Luis), Luke (Monica), Brittany (Sam), Megan (Kayne). Great-Grandchildren: Jackson, Ellah Grace, Sofia, Isaiah, Finley & Aria.
Sisters: Belva (Bob), Betty (Marvin), Lenore (Kenny) Brothers: Ron (Marg) & Wayne. Sister-in-laws: Joan & Madelaine.
Predeceased by Brothers: Jerry, Max & Ross and Sister: Ruby.
Missed by many, many nieces and nephews whom she loved so dearly.
