OKE, Carrie Ann (nee Mantle)
Carrie was taken suddenly from her family and friends on Tuesday April 2nd, 2019. Carrie was born on August 22nd, 1979 in Brampton, Ontario and spent most of her life growing up in Huntsville Ontario. She had an infectious personality and a passion for dance which she shared with others as a dance teacher. She met her husband Greg at her own sister's wedding where they began to build their beautiful life together. She was her family's loudest cheerleader, whether it was at the arena or the dance studio, and she documented every moment as she was always the proudest mom and/or wife in the room.
Carrie is survived by her husband Greg Oke and her two children Paige and Jayden (JJ). She also leaves behind her mother Joanne Mantle, sister Christine Mantle-Marnoch (Matt Marnoch) and her brother Jamie Mantle (Jana). She was a proud aunt to Ethan, Matthew, Taylor, Vickie, Hayley, Cameron, Joshua, Landon, Zachary and Oliver and she also leaves behind various aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. She is preceded in death by her father Rod Mantle.
Carrie lived every moment of life to the fullest. It was what her family and many friends loved most about her. She had an amazing way of seeing the world and making each day a new adventure that could be celebrated with her family, friends and co-workers.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 10th, 2019 at Billingsley Funeral Home from 4 - 8 p.m. and from 10 - 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 11th, 2019. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, April 11th at 11am. Reception to follow. Memorial Donations can be made to Huntsville Hospital Foundation.
