Billy Joe Anthony Prosser

June 14, 1985 – October 17, 2025

It is with broken hearts and endless love that we share the passing of Billy Joe Anthony Prosser, who left us far too soon on October 17, 2025, in Huntsville, Ontario. Billy was born on June 14, 1985, in Mississauga, Ontario, and lived all 40 of his years with grit, laughter, and a heart that never stopped giving.

On August 6, 2011, Billy married the love of his life, Genise Reid, in Port Sydney, Ontario. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and a beautiful family that meant everything to him.

Billy is survived by his devoted mother, Cathy Prosser, his loving wife Genise, and his children Jacob, Jeffrey, Mikey, and Ben, who were the light of his life. He will be deeply missed by his sisters Stacy, Tara, Catherine, and Sara, their spouses, his grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews who adored their Uncle Billy.

Billy was a wonderful son — devoted, caring, and always there when you needed him. He had a special bond with his mom, one built on mutual respect, humour, and love. No matter how busy life got, Billy never stopped checking in, helping out, and making sure she knew how much she meant to him.

His fierce work ethic showed up early — whether he was shovelling snow, cutting grass, or collecting bottles, Billy always found a way to make a few bucks (and maybe sneak in a laugh while doing it). That drive carried him through owning his own Pizza Pizza franchise, becoming a skilled gas fitter, and eventually running his own company.

Billy loved the outdoors — summer days spent camping, riding his four-wheeler or side-by-side, and sharing laughs around a campfire. He loved a good round of golf, though he was known to enjoy the company more than keeping score. And his white Mustang? Let’s just say, if you heard that engine, you didn’t have to wonder who was behind the wheel — Billy was flying by with that mischievous grin.

A service to celebrate Billy’s life will be held at Billingsley Funeral Home in Huntsville, Ontario, officiated by Evelyn Coker, on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., with a luncheon to follow downstairs.

A visitation will take place on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
