Beverly Joan Cook

Beverly Cook, born August 25, 1936, in Newtonbrook, ON passed away peacefully at Huntsville Hospital on April 21, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Beverly was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Ethel Heaton, and by her brothers, Ross and Jack.

She was the beloved wife and best friend of Bob for seventy wonderful years; a loving mother to Stephen (Debbie), Bob (Linda), Greg (Brenda), Teresa (Glenn), and Rick (Anna); and a proud grandmother to Stacey, Brad, Scott, Quinn, Kayla, Jacob, Chris, Aiden, Julianna, and Sarah. She was also a cherished great-grandmother to Chelsea, Jackson, Gabriella, Bryson, Bentley, and Isabella, all of whom brought her tremendous joy.

Beverly was a dedicated, hardworking woman whose life revolved around her family and community. As a wonderful stay-at-home mother, she created a home filled with warmth, generosity, and unconditional love. Her home was always open, and everyone who entered was welcomed with kindness and made to feel like family.

Throughout her life, Beverly gave generously of her time and talents. She worked as a bookkeeper for the family business, served as a church organist, and volunteered in her community. She was deeply involved in local hockey as a coach, executive member of the Keswick Minor Hockey Association, and supportive fan for her children and their teammates. She was also a proud member of the Choralairs Choir, where her love of music and community shone brightly. Music brought her great joy throughout her life, and she especially loved playing the piano, often filling her home with music.

Above all, Beverly was a loving and devoted wife. The partnership and love she shared with Bob over seventy years were a beautiful example of commitment, support, and enduring love, inspiring all who knew them. Together, they built a life centred on family, compassion, and unwavering support for one another.

Her strength, quiet grace, and unwavering dedication to her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

The family will be holding a private Celebration of Life. Condolences can be sent to the family. Anyone wishing to make a donation in her memory is welcome to donate to Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada https://www.heartandstroke.ca/ or the Canadian Lung Association https://www.lung.ca/
