Alfred Siegfried Huke

Alfred “Fred” Huke passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on August 7th, 2026 at the age of 81.

Born on February 1st, 1945 in Leinefelde, Germany to Franz Johannes and Maria Huke.  At the young age of nine his family immigrated to Canada.  Settling in Ontario. For the past 35 years he has called Huntsville his home.  Fred was a mechanic by trade, but truly a MacGyver of just about anything.  Outside of work Fred thoroughly enjoyed playing hockey and baseball, spending quiet days fishing or taking long car rides to wherever the road led him.  Above all else he loved his family and friends fiercely and was always there to lend a helping hand.

Predeceased by his adored wife, Willa (2007) and his loving partner Dianne (2025).

Fred’s legacy of hard work, love and reliability will live on through his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his children Mike (Heather), Ann (Paul), Danny (Amber) and loved father to his bonus children Sheri (Kevin), and Brent (Mandy), also mourning his loss are his grandchildren Rebecca, Andrew, Sebastion, Tyson (Lisa), Jorey, Nathan, Abby, Nick, Sarah, Colby, Shianne and his great grandchildren Liam, Lexi, Hendrix, Malikai, Aubrey, Andrea, Alexis, and Grayden. 

Fred will be deeply missed by many family members and great friends.

Funeral services entrusted to Billingsley Funeral Home.  Visitation will take place Tuesday, August 11th, 2026 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm.  Funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 12th, 2026 at 1pm led by Pastor and friend Lance Johnson.
