Albert "Bruce" Fowler

Passed away suddenly at his home in Novar on Saturday, April 13, 2024 in his 72nd year. Born on February 12, 1953 to Helen and Albert Fowler in Huntsville. He is the beloved husband of Brenda (nee Shay) who were married on September 28, 1996. Dear father of Dana (Ann) Shay and Eileen (Norm) MacKay. Grandfather of Bronte (George), Nolan (Emma), Alyssa (Austin) and Ashley (Cullen). Bruce is survived by his mother Helen (nee White) of Kearney and sister Barb (Brent) Dance. Uncle to Angie (Jason) and great-uncle to Nolan, Isabella and Alex. Predeceased by his father Albert Fowler. Bruce will be missed by his many friends both near and far.

Bruce worked as a fireman for Halton Hills in his early years for many years, following in his fathers footsteps. He will be remembered as someone who would strike up a conversation with anyone whether outside his home or meeting friends for coffee. It was his family however that gave him the most joy and was very meaningful to him.

In keeping with Bruce’s wishes cremation will take place. A celebration of life will take place at Billingsley Funeral Home on Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. with speeches being said at 2 p.m.  As an expression of sympathy memorial donations can be made to the Perry Township Firefighters Association or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
